The slight mispronunciation in the child’s prayer
was still quite applicable. “Give us today our daily breath.”
In his nightly prayer a small boy said,
“Dear God, we had a great time in church today.
I wish you could have been there.”
A young boy in Houston, TX missed his father
who’d been on a long business trip to California.
He began his nightly prayer by saying,
“Our Father, who art in Los Angeles…”
To be seventy years young is sometimes far more cheerful
and hopeful than to be forty years old.
